What gender is this Marans?

I know it is not a typical Marans. The mother had small bits of copper coming through on her thigh feathers. I believe it's called mossiness? Anyway, I never even noticed it until we got this chick that had copper leaking throughout her fluff. Someone explained the DNA, but I can't remember all of the technical terms. Anyway, just wondering what gender it is. I am going to post a picture of it as a newborn chick and now at 10 weeks old. My guess is a rooster but I want to be sure before we put him in the rooster house.

Yep, it's a cockerel. He's got an interesting color... I like it.

110% cockerel with the hackles and saddles. the comb and wattles are also to large for a young pullet
