What gender is this Silkie & leghorn?

Oh my goodness...poor silkies already have a tough time with regular chicken only to get bubblegum in their hair!! Lol!! I know not really, but still funny!! My Silkie is the last for everything. Should I try to get another for a buddy?? Mine seems so lonely.

Poor silkies, how very much nicer it would look if they didn't have hideous"tumors" for a comb. They do their best trying to hide it beneath huge crests but alas, it sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't know why pioneers of the breed would think "this" should be the proper comb.

Were they all raised together? Our girl cheryl was a single chicken. added her into the mix later. . she can't see as well.. when she hatched out chicks for the first time, I trimmed back her feathers so she could see. She is now the greatest broody hen we've ever had, and Moma hen. They are just too precious. I took my husband with me to pick up some chicks one time, and he fell in love with the white silkie, & I figured since we didn't have any naked neck silkies we get one. so here's our latest newest silky. We are so happy this one is a hen as well. She will lay in the spring. .

Yes 9 out of 11 have all been raised together. The 2 that were not, were raised together. My original 9 treat the Silkie well. But the other 2 that are older just pick on the Silkie something terrible.
Your new white Silkie is cute! I never knew that they had naked neck silkies. I'm sure that there's a lot of breeds that I've never seen since I just started having chickens. City farm, do you only have silkies?
