What gender is this Welsummer?

Just hatched this morning. I think it’s a female, but not totally sure.

If it has “eyeliner” it’s a pullet, cockerels won’t have that

Normally I would say it’s way too early to tell but Welsummers are one of the few breeds that can be sexed early on. Like was mentioned, if it’s got eyeliner it’ll be a girl. Or when it gets older the males will have a black breast while females will be more salmon/orange ish brown.

Thank you, yes Welsummer pullets do have “eyeliner” and the triangle on the head is darker, I just couldn’t tell on this one. It was the only Welsummer egg that hatched, so I don’t have another one to compare it to. I looked at pictures online and wasn’t sure. Do you think mine has eyeliner?
