What gender... Just for fun

Only 26 days old. It's a Delaware/Black Jersey Giant Cross. It's the only one that has the brown coloring on it. I need to add pullets to my layer flock and this was one of the chosen ones if it happens to be a pullet.

I'll reveal what it is once we know for sure...

its a bit young to know for sure, but that comb is kinda large for the age. I'd lay money on it turning out to be a cockerel.

All of the chicks from this hatch are this size... This one is on the smaller side.


This is it's sibling at only 15 days old. The size is from the Jersey Giant side

This is the only one out of the group that has actually caught my eye. There's 21 of them. But most are black with brown or white.

I have 9 other chicks that just hatched, I'm hoping most of those are pullets. A girl can dream
