How old are they? Look female so far
I am not sure how old. All the photos are of the same chicken. How old? Could you number the pictures, they all look similar so it's hard to tell if it's one chick, or three different ones.
I am not sure about the age. When I got them they had barley started developing the comb. How old are they? Look female so far
Not sure about breed
Did you get pictures when you first got them?I am not sure about the age. When I got them they had barley started developing the comb.
Yes I do but when I got them from the local feed store their comb was barley growing and they were fully feathered.Did you get pictures when you first got them?
Since they were fully feathered when you got them they would've been 5.5 - 6 weeks old minimum at that time. Having a better estimate of how old they are will help when figuring out when they'll start laying.Yes I do but when I got them from the local feed store their comb was barley growing and they were fully feathered.
Currently they’re 6-7 weeks old. Give or take a week or two won’t tell you when they’re going to lay. Every pullet matures differently and while multiple months could make a difference, it’s not difficult to visually assume their age/maturity. It’s much easier to judge pelvic width/comb size and look for signs such as squatting and vocalizations.Since they were fully feathered when you got them they would've been 5.5 - 6 weeks old minimum at that time.
