What gender or breed is this friendly hobo?

So this chicken just showed up in our flock one day. Somebody either dumped it with ours or it ran away or got lost. No one around here has chickens. It's calm, doesn't mount our hens, has 1 inch straight spurs (not curved like our roos). Smaller than an orpington bigger than a leghorn. We free range so it has just joined ours and is right at home. Just curious as it's so different than our others.

Maybe some type of meat bird. He really should be quarantined to make sure he isn't carrying disease before being allowed to mingle with your flock.
True for when you choose to bring in a bird. Kinda pointless when it's been ranging and nesting with your birds for a few days before you see it🤣
