What gender??? *** wyandottes

will do thank you! Those were taken on Sunday, and they're getting enough tail and wing feather to see the white and black... if that makes a difference at all. I would happily take a roo, and may allready even have a home for the other if they both turn out to be roos but... impatience will be the death of me, ugh! they really dont have any combs or wattles.. they had rec time today (time where they get to run around the house with my supervision and plenty of towels of course) and I inspected where the combs would come in and its as flat as a board..

that is my camera, nikon coolpix l110.. 15x digital zoom, 12.1 megapixels.. I am VERY happy with it! It's a GREAT family camera!

Wyandottes, actually, they have a comb called a pea comb. Their combs are pretty much flat with small little "peas" on it. I have a wyandotte hen and her comb was flat until she was 2-3 weeks old. Maybe even 4.

I guess im just in the "chicken coop" then huh and have to wait it out... well in any case I have 10 more little ones being shipped from MPC in a few weeks... All pullets btw.. :)

They're one week old today and still have NO comb at all... still as flat as a board and very light in color, same as the color of their legs. Their tail feathers are coming in well, and their wing feathers have the black and silver/white.. I will be able to upload pix today at some point.. They don't like to be apart, and I'm thinking we have a very dominant hen because when she can't see the other chick she peeps at the top of her lungs till she can see her again... they're inseperable!
