What gender?

This is a 3 week old chick named Penguin. She is said to be a Black Sex-Link but I'm thinking Blue Austrolorp.

I think you are correct about it being a blue australorp, however it is too early to tell sex. At 6 weeks you can get an idea, but 8 weeks would give a more definitive answer. Post new pictures then and we should be able to help you.

I got her from Tractor supply. She was in a bin mixed with Black Sex-Links and they told me 3 times that she was a black sex link. Oh well.

Ah, okay! There are so many breed options here, that we probably won't know for sure until they're older. It seems a very common TSC breed right now is Sapphire Gems. Those employees are experts, right?
