Hi, I have two female Olive Egger chicks and two Sapphire Gem chicks. Their combs are noticeably larger, so I was wondering if they might be males.

They are about three weeks old.

Sapphire Gems should be sex linked. Both of yours have noticeable barring and big combs. They're cockerels. The Olive Egger looks female at this point but its a little young to confirm.

That's pretty young for such a big comb..I'm a newbie, but my guess is cockerel. Wait for people who know more to answer though!

I agree they're fully feathered from what I can see and look to be at LEAST 6 weeks old.

I just looked on my calendar I have had them for 4 weeks I got them from tractors supply.

When you got them were they day-olds though? They look closer to 8 weeks old to me.
