What genders?

I have gotten 5 chicks. Ones a polish and I think the others are Cochin bantams. They are 4 weeks old. How old should they be when you can tell when they are hens/roosters?

My bantam cochin boys are very apparent by 6 weeks. Can't help you with the Polish, sorry.

You should have a good idea of gender when your chicks are about 8 weeks old. Some cockerels take longer to mature, though, and won't become obvious until they're older.

You may be able to begin telling gender even at this age. Any chicks with large red combs at this age are likely males. You will be more certain as they get older.
