What Genetics/Traits will we end up with???

We are planning on hatching some of our Red Star pullet's eggs this Spring. The rooster who has been doing his job is a RIR. What traits will the chicks have?

*RIR rooster's traits:

Strong
big
friendly and aggressive
handsome
in good shape

*Red Star's traits:
Very friendly
social
cute
in good shape
lays good eggs


If we mixed these two chickens, what breed would we come out with? would they just be mutt chicks? looking at the traits that both rooster and hen have, do you think we would get good chicks??? I think so!

anyone....??? so basically my question is would we get good chicks, based on the traits and genetics of the hen/rooster? simple question.....

You will get birds that look like rhode island red and birds that look like the red star. As far as temperment etc., my experience with hundreds of birds of over 20 different breeds tells me every bird is different. The offspring should be good layers with an even temperament.
