What 'Golden Rule' do you live by?

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I think this one really stands up for todays standards.

Another good one is "people need loving the most when they deserve it the least." So true, and so hard to practice I think.

I try to live this one too; "it takes two people to hurt you, the enemy who said it, and the friend who brings it to you."

Here are some of my Golden rules
1- If you do something do it right and remember that God is watching you, even if you can't see him, he does see you.
2- First thing of Wisdom is FEARING GOD
3- Build your life like you will live for ever, and when you pray, pray the best as if you going to die tomorrow.

I think of these rules all the time and thanks God I am very happy with them.

Talk softly, but carry a big stick.
Though I prefer Yosemite Sam's version from an old loony tunes film.

Yeah? Well I talk LOUD and I carry bigger stick! And use it too! See?

Learn to relax. You can't solve a difficult problem without a clear mind.
Its good to be able to laugh at yourself--often.
Say "I love you" every day to your spouse.

I have several:
The 'Do unto others' one is my favorite.
I also tell my kids that all of us are the same under our skin - color doesn't matter. (I usually word it " We are all the same once you peel the skin off' it's kind of gross, but it makes a point, to teenagers at least)
Also, I can handle stupidity, I can tolerate ignorance, but I will not, can not, won't put up with rudeness.
But, I guess in actuality, these are all offshoots of the original 'Do unto others' rule.
