This morning we found where a guinea apparantely got eaten by..something. I've been trying to find what could have possibly gotten it. All that was left were it wings, it looked like something just ripped the wings right off and threw them down. We haven't found any other sign of the body. It looks like it happened inside our fence, and the guinea was out all night, so I'm not sure what time it actually happened. Any ideas as to what would have ripped the wings off and eaten the rest of it?

The only thing I ever had to leave just wings was an owl. I had this happen twice years ago and finally removed the owl. It really looks wierd when you find only wings, I know. Just watch for owls and cover the pen if you can. I use lightweight tree netting and that worked really well.

Thanks! We have owls around and usually our guineas go into the coop at night, but this one decided to go way high up in a tree. It was just really wierd.
