What happened to ASKPEEPS?!?!

I think it was a great idea, and am confused as to why it quit.

I would like to try to bring it back.

The person who had that personal page has not posted since October of last year. Just a guess, but most likely not a contributing member of BYC anymore. Some folks move on to other things.

Okay... Do you think it sounds like something that would be worth starting back up, except under a different section (not copying.)

I would really like to do this.

It would also be a good basis for first timers. right?

Wow, that was a LONG time ago!!! Thanks for the reminder. Yes, peeps has retired from answering questions and has been super busy with other projects.

With that said, you guys can totally run with this to make sure Peep's legacy lives on ! Here's what I suggest you do:

1) Choose a person to "own" or organize the game
2) That person starts a new thread in Games / Jokes / Fun with instructions and information on submitting questions.
3) That person creates a BYC Page in the same format as "AskPeeps" (you can use your own version and pictures of peeps since the old Peeps is retired). This page is where the owner of the game will post the questions and answers.
4) This person will accept questions via PM and either they can answer it or maybe have some assistant peepers help with answers.
5) Best is to have a set schedule for when questions / answers will be posted so people know when to look. (Like every Sunday at 6:00 pm PST or every MWF morning... that kind of thing).

Again, that's just what I suggest. If you have other ideas, let us know and we'll help where we can.

I think I might make it just a little more serious though..

I just read through all the q and a, and think that I would like the questions to be a little more serious, (along with the answers.)

In all honesty, there's really no need to have a serious questions / answers version of AskPeeps because that's what this entire forum is for... unless I'm missing what difference a "serious" version would bring from what we have on the forum?
