What happened to my hen’s butt/belly!?

What are circles @Wyorp Rock...lice maybe?
LOL Brain freeze?
Those are new emerging feathers - possibly a target for the other hens since they are plucking feathers and eating thing.
Even though something else could be going on with this hen, since her bottom looks "full", the wound is probably from plucking those in coming feathers. (they got a big more peckish once they drew blood)

Ok so the blukote did not work- I sprayed the whole area and by the time I got home at the end of the day there was a small area where she had been pecked again. We are now trying Rooster Booster’s “pick no more” cover up lotion. I could not find any of the tar at TSC. It’s going to be a bit of a task to try and expand the coop in the middle of winter as our yard is pretty covered in hard snow. I do let them out at the end of the day for an hour but it’s clearly not enough. We have plenty of chicken wire to give them more space but clearing the space will be the real project. Thank you for all of the advice! Fingers crossed that the pick no more works

Did you look in the horse section for the Pine tar? I believe that's where it's located, if not ask clerk.

I'm sorry that she was pecked more. If you have plenty of wire, you may have to improvise a temporary run somehow or cage her separately in the garage until you can find another solution.
