what happened to the goose with the broken beak?

i remember a few weeks back there was a post about a goose who had very badly injured her beak and at first it seemed as if the bottom half was totally missing but this wasnt the case in the end...i cant seem to find the thread anymore...does anyone know if she made it or....?
