It happened this morning, our year old serama roo was crowing as usual, my dad being a bit irritated by it rubbed the back of his neck in the middle of a crow to make him stop, then he started to do this weird convulsing, head back, toes clinched and eyes closed, he looked like he was going to die.

we sat him down, and after a minute was got up and was himself. I just want to be sure its nothing serious or happened maybe due being rubbed on the back roughly where the brain is close.

Wow. That's a new one on me. Did he rub the back of the neck or pinch in at the sides? The only thing that makes sense is maybe the blood flow got cut off and the bird nearly passed out from it. Tell your dad to be more gentle with the little guy. Seramas are not exactly tough no matter what they may think.

Good luck.

that sounds possible. I think after the incident my dad will be aware and not handle him so rough. but hes doing just mine and is himself, and thats all that matters.

thank you.
