What hatchery do you order from?

I just got a shipment of chicks from Cackle Hatchery...they arrived heathly and active...I would order from them again.

I ordered all my chickens from Ideal Poultry, they provide a great selection. If your chicks or chick dies within a few days or so upon delivery or arrives dead, they will refund you. Though delivery ussually always goes well and the chicks are very healthy and lively and the people are nice.

I've always used McMurray with no complaints. Ordered some ducks from Ideal also. One was DOA but they credited the amount back to my card no problem. Thinking about trying Metzer for a larger duck order.

I got my four birdies from Meyer Hatchery. :3 I lost two of them to a raccoon though.
But then I proceeded to trap the coon and shoot it, so it's all good. :3

XD i tried to shoot the hawk who killed my chicken but i couldnt find it... i got my first batch from ideal and got the second from mypetchicken.com bcuz they were the only one i find that u didnt need at least 25 or something..i only wanted 3!!!

Anyone have experience with Buck n Run Ranch? I see they have some rare breeds available but I want to make sure they are a reputable business and treat their animals with care.

Good thing you didn't get it. That's a $10,000 fine for shooting a federally protected bird.
