What hatchery for Araucanas/Easter Eggers?

In the last couple of years I have bought standards from McMurray (100+ in several spring shipments), Ideal (35 in 1 fall shipment), Mt Healthy (50 in 1 fall shipment). Egg color wise of the pullets kept to pol, the McM laid about 90% green/blue (about 50 birds total), Ideal about 80% and Mt.H only had about 50% green/blue from about 30 each. Did not have major health problems with any of them. The largest birds seemed to be the Mt.H ones. Ideal had the least feather color variation, McM and Mt H about the same range, Mt H had black and whites (kind of Wyandotte looking) which I haven't gotten from McM but to me a lot of the birds Mt. H birds were dull colored. A lot of the Mt.H birds did not have cheek puffs, would say a good 20%, of the McM and Ideal one or two birds didn't... btw it seemed to have nothing to do with egg color. All had peacombs. Egg production wise, the McM birds lay the best (5 large eggs week), and the Ideal and Mt.H about the same (about 4 eggs a week, more medium size ones though) when they are laying well. I bought sexed pullets from all of them, and they were all at least 90% accurate, don't think I had more than 1 rooster in any shipment. They all sent 1 or 2 extra birds.

I currently have five from Cackle. They are only 3 weeks old--so I can't say how they lay. There seems to be nice color variety--lots of blue. They are quite flighty still, but I make very little effort to tame down my chickens.

ETA (thought I added, must have accidentally deleted): They are very active, healthy and growing vigorously. I got them from Cackle through a group order with other people, and because that's where I was ordering other birds from already.

I noticed in your heading you said Araucanas/Easter Eggers. If you are looking for actual araucana, you cannot get those from hatcheries however there are several breeders of Araucana ( not Easter Eggers) on the East Coast, specifically there is one in NC and one in SC. They will be much more expensive than Easter Eggers as they are an actual breed and quite rare and difficult to breed. However they lay beautiful blue and blue green eggs. No pinks, browns or brown greens.

If you are wondering what an araucana actually is feel free to look around my website www.cashsblueeggs.com I only breed show and raise araucana.
