Ideal is great order Jersey Black Gaints they where back order told me it would be a month two days later they call with them mailed them out that afternoon got them yesterday look great !!!!!!!!

I got 10 chicks this week from MyPetChicken and have nothing but good things to say about them. Chicks arrived overnight from CT. to TX. All arrived happy and healthy and, so far, no mortality.

I ordered my first batch of 26 chicks from Murray McMurray! With one extra chick and the mystery chick for fun! They hatched on Saturday morning and were at my Post Office Saturday afternoon. Looking fine and dandy. So far so good!

I ordered from McMurray and all 27 and my mystery chick arrived healthy and, I believe, true to order in early May. I just received 6 silkie chicks from Mypetchicken yesterday and they seem to be healthy and are so darn cute. I believe it is not only hatchery but weather and the postal service that determines if the chicks will arrive ok. I don't think I would order chicks to arrive in July or August because its just too hot most times in Connecticut then for the trip.

Ideal is wonderful! Call them, you might be surprised.. They often have small amounts of chicks still available. We thought our order wouldn't ship until June 3rd, but it shipped yesterday, and now I have 18 peepers making a mess of their brooder!

We have only ordered fm a hatchery once so far, well twice but my 2nd order hasnt shipped yet. We got 100 from Cackle + 3 free ducklings and they all arrived right on schedule and 100% alive. In fact, the only loss I have had is one of the banty's I got at TSC, we are going on 3 weeks now and everyone is great. My other order is from Stromberg's (since they are only 2 hours from us) but like I said, they havent shipped yet, wont till end of July.

Ideal is the only hatchery I've ordered from and don't have a reason to look elsewhere. They are always friendly and understanding. They answer all your questions. Your order only has to total $25. I just received 7 welsummer pullets from them this morning. They were shipped yesterday and arrived early this morning. Someone mentioned how the PO handles them. I agree. My PO is great, they called early this morning to let me know they were there. I ordered 18 chicks for myself from Ideal last year and about 6 or 8 more for someone else. All were in excellent shape. Everyone survived to 12 weeks, buff orps probably smothered the silkies when I stuck them outside since they were all sort of at the bottom of the pile when I went out one morning

My brother ordered from healthychicksandmore a couple of years ago and Hoovers after that. He liked them both and said he'd order from them again. I think he's ordering from Hoovers again soon.

Ideal by far. Just got a shipment today. Also, you can be put on a waitlist for pullets - I did that and they called me to tell me they were available. My chicks today are robust, happy, healthy little fuzzbutts.
