What hatchery should i choose??

Should I choose ideal poultry,My pet chicken,Meyer hatchery,or breeders? where is best to get my chickens? because last year I went to Atwood's and got some disappointing genders they where all boys in one box so please help

Don't go through a hatchery at all honestly. But your chicks from sellers here on BYC.
Better quality chicks and your supporting the little guys.

I just picked up 4 from www.cameronfamilyfarm.com they do ship, great customer service , nice chickens

I received my first chicks last week from Hoover's Hatchery. I am very impressed! All arrived alive, strong, & healthy & they were here the day after they were shipped out. They don't have as many breeds as some of the other hatcheries, but what they have is generally available when many others are sold out.
