Your library sounds like my dream! I hope to be able to have one one day. At the moment I’m quickly running out of shelf space and I don’t have room for another bookcase... I may have to start getting creative.I love the diversity of your reading list. I think you might enjoy looking over my home library. When I moved into this farmhouse, there was no doubt in my mind that a first-floor room, used as a bedroom by previous owners, was the perfect spot for my overgrown collection of books, a comfy chair and a side table.
The 1917 book looks intriguing; and congrats on surviving quarantine, shopping at a thrift store and for fostering kittens.
BTW, when I start a book that I just can't make myself finish, it's both disappointing and irritating. I WANT to be able to get something from all of them. Once in a while, I will put said book back on a shelf and try again. Rarely works the second time either, which means it's time to donate that book so someone can enjoy it.
