What have you been reading?

I'm retired, and KNOW that I couldn't read as many books as you do!

The only book I'm reading right now is the Bible.

I do read pretty fast. But I also have a lot of spare time since I almost never watch tv and I don’t really have any social media outside of BYC and TEG. I didn’t realize just how much time I was spending watching tv until I took a break from it last year. That happened to coincide with the same month I got a library card and picked up reading again and I never really went back to watching tv.

Its the same for me, I don't watch TV. I do like to watch informational videos on YT though. I usually only read in the morning and at night, that's when I don't have any classes. You read extremely fast!

I just finished a one-day read: The Cow in the Parking Lot, A Zen Approach to Overcoming Anger.

It was interesting, but I apparently need to read it again because I STILL said bad words today when the latch on one of the gates got stuck.

Well sometimes I go all over the place (can't really go wrong with any of the books lol) but this morning I finished Matthew, and am planning to start Mark Tonight.

I’m starting this tonight:

A Baptist friend of mine gave it to me. She’s so frustrated by the way she and her fellow women are treated as to be seen and not heard in her church. I don’t have the same experience in Orthodoxy, so I’ll be interested to hear a different perspective.

I’ve been reading the Red Queen series for the last few weeks. It’s YA, but highly recommended from several English teacher friends of mine. It has not disappointed!
