what hen is best to breed with speckled sussex???

this is johnny!
he was 'sue' my speckled sussex until i heard him crow at about 10 weeks of age.

so, my only rooster! i did eventually want a roo. but i was not ready yet. however, i LOVE him. he is so beautiful and he does not mind me.
he won't let me pet him, but that is fine.

however, i am thinking about breeding him with a few of my hens.
what do you think the best mix would be:
EE
cuckoo maran
white leghorn
barred rock
rhode island red
welsummer
columbian wyandotte
golden laced wyandotte
campine
buff orpington
buff chantecler
salmon faverolles
barnevelder
black astralorp

According to the chicken calculator it looks like breeding him to:

Barred rock or Cuckoo Marans would give you black sex links
Columbian pattern would give you black patterned gold columbian
Barnevelder would give you incomplete gold laced

He's a big boy! I'm thinking about crossing mine with some orpingtons, wyandottes, and EE's to make some good broilers/layers.

But if your chickens are just for pretty pets, I think the incomplete gold lacing you'd get with the Barnvelders sounds really pretty!
