What Hen or rooster? and what breed?

whats a barnyard mix ? is it a bunch of different breeds? Its the same age as my lavender and barely just growing the comb. Im superrr hoping its a girl lol. Is it because of the wing colors???

I think both are girls, though the Lavender AM is a girl for sure.

I have one that is similar to your first, and it's a girl. Despite the beautiful colours.

So heres an update on the chicks after 1 month of my vacation


The mystery chick is a rooster! it grew out theses green feathers and crown is turning red :/



the amber link is a nice sweet girl !


im confused on the lavender still cause i think the crown looks redder than the amber link but the tail is like female.
Im getting paranoid that it stands like a rooster too

is anyone able to tell what breed the rooster is?? he is much thinner and smaller than my RI rooster and smaller than the amberlink and EE hen.
and is the lavender a hen or rooster D:??

I think the lav is a pullet. and the cockerel is a mutt I am guessing. He is pretty looking though.

Okay, so this morning I definitely heard 2 crows. One was the rhode Island red and another was more rounded sound. Its not the little rooster because I already gave him away.... so its one of the hens is crowing OR lav or amber link is rooster

My lavender is crowing every single day now. The rooster wont let him eat with the hens either.... I will post up some pics soon to see show if he's changed or not D:
