what I did in the garden today...

well actully yesterday..weeded and went with hubby to collect water from the lake..temp hit 36 degrees celcius..like 98f..way too hot and inhumane to be outside..gave the girls fresh cold water and some frozen berries to help beat the heat..watered at dusk..feeling the heat already at 730am in Northen Ontario Canada..27c!!! like 85f praying for rain dont want the well to go dry staying inside but looking out the windows at my poor wilting garden please we need rain

We live in Texas and heat is such a tough thing to endure, but you did all the right things! We sometimes wet the ground a little in order to give them a cool spot to lay down and even a fan blowing helps!
