I bought this chick along with 3 Silkies from Cenex. They are aproxamately 6 weeks old now. Can anyone give me some ideas on what this chick is?

    Thanks!

I say Buff Orp, but I'm not 100% sure.

All of my chicks are 6 weeks old except for the bantam Polish I have, and she dwarfs everyone. If she is a buff rock, would she really be that much bigger than the rest?

Im not sure....but my buff orp never had any black tipped feathers as i notice in that picture. I guess it could be one with color problems.

I'm just sayin' Buff Rock because of the yellow legs. BOs have white legs, not yellow. She is adorable!!!

My Buff Orpington that is the same age, is smaller, more rounded build, with pinkish white legs... And is much lighter in color than the chick in question...

Quote:I'm leaning torward Buff Rock too, because of her legs... I looked at the breed chart, and she definatly does fit the descrition for a buff rock.
