Are there any serious health concerns if a chicken bites you? A couple of weeks ago, one of our friendly hens bit me behind my knee, and there was a bit of blood.

If blood was drawn from the bite, clean it thoroughly with Hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol. Soap and water is good. I don't think there are any issues as long as you don't get an infection. I have a BR that bites. All the others peck, but she is a biter. I still love her. She is so unique.

Are you serious?
Dab some peroxide and neosporin and move on.
Unless you're feeding your chickens roadkill, you really don't have anything to be concerned about.
Except for maybe tetanus. still, treating it, you should be fine.
