What if eggs don't hatch

I have a broody peahen sitting on her eggs and wanted to ask what if the eggs don't hatch .After about 30 days in case my eggs don't hatch .Can I purchase 1 day old chicks from the market and put them under her . Is it possible that she might accept them??

She might but have a set up for them in case she doesnt. I don't know how peahens act around babies

Whether hens do or don't take to adopted chicks is never a guaranteed outcome.As JacinLarkwell said cover yourself from every angle by having a brooder box with a heat bulb all ready to go.

I'd try to get turkey poults they'd most resemble her young and she might accept them easier.
