What if you get a roo?

Pics
I don't have this problem. We work them in or eat them. Since the majority of male chicks don't make it past their first day I don't feel guilt raising them up and giving them a great life, and turning them into dinner if necessary. I consider them the lucky ones. Since I have a large flock and many roosters everyone gets a shot here.

I live outside of city limits where there aren't many rules about roosters, so there's not usually a huge rush to get rid of them. Usually I run an ad on Craigslist. There's also a Facebook group for people with chickens in my area, so sometimes I'll go there if no one wants him on Craigslist. I raise bantam breeds, so not great for meat. If still no one wants him, there's a feed store about 30 minutes away from me that will take them for free and try to sell them.

In the neighborhood I used to live in, had a limit of 10-12 hens and one rooster. One of my neighbors must not of cared too much about that rule. They had like 30 hens TONS of chicks (that were always getting into my yard) and maybe 6 roosters! Nobody ever complained about them...

I just bought my pair of game chickens from someone who lives here in town. There is a 6 hen limit, he had about 40 including roos. When I asked him about that he said no one in law in law inforcement cares, as long as no one complains nothing will be done. Now if the deputy that lives behind me...lol
I also just found out that 1 of my silkies is a roo. I will sell him, don't want to push my luck
