What in Tarantino’s are these??

They seem to have come from the hay. Will they bother the layers/broodies?

I did a google after seeing your post, but I didn't come up with anything.
I'd check everyone of my hen's vents very carefully just in case.
There has to be some reason they are on that egg which makes me doubt they came from the hay.

I did an extensive search. Because I am in my coop every day collecting eggs and have never seen them in there before. And I had just added new hay from a new bale that day. I’ve check all vents and combed through my chickens and seen nothing. Continued searching and from what I’ve found they look like “hay lice.” Because they were flat small and red. So I’m just treating it as so For now.
