Okay, so here's the story...

The duck on the right (smaller, white, mostly feathered out) was the sole survivor of a duck order from Ideal Poultry. The duck on the left is another Pekin I ordered in a separate order from Metzer Farms to replace the Pekin that didn't make it with the first order as I wanted 2 Pekins. They are only 1 week apart in age. The smaller duck is the older one. How can these both be Pekins??!!
The larger one "Ping" is HUGE compared to "Yangtze" - huge feet, huge head, huge beak, weighs more, etc. Did someone send me the wrong duck? I did not order a Jumbo Pekin. Did I get a Jumbo or is the smaller white duck something else? Any thoughts? Just trying to figure out what in the world I ended up with.

Some differences I noticed as they were growing - besides their size. : )

Yangtze (smaller duck) - began quacking earlier, feathered out super quick, very vocal, inquisitive
Ping (large duck) - took longer to begin quacking, sometimes still chimes out a peep, is taking forever to feather out completely, seems more mellow, not quite as vocal as Yangtze, snores!

Any thoughts from any Pekin experts?

They look like pekins. Sounds like the big one is a boy and the little one a girl, but Im just guessing

Are the boys really that much larger? It seems like the larger duck weighs twice as much already and is younger... It might be hard to tell from the photo, but there really is quite a size difference.

If it turns out that I do have a male and female, will I have a problem? Right now, we have 2 Rouens - 1 male and 1 female. I was supposed to get 2 female Pekins so that I would have 3 females total to the 1 male Rouen. If my large Pekin is a male, that will make 2 males to 2 females. I can't house more than 4 ducks. Will I have to give away my male Pekin? I will be sooo bummed.

I feel that Yangtze is a mix. She may be a runner/pekin or buff/pekin mix. Her bill looks more runnerish to me. They mature at about the pace you describe. If they are both quacking, they are females.

Now it could just be that you have opposite ends of a Pekin spectrum.

Hmmm.
