what in your opinion is the best candler

i keep reading that people can see heart beats and see the ducking wiggle
well i don't see that all i see is veins in the first week and the a big black blob getting bigger in the egg.
this was OK when i started hatching but now I'm greedy for MORE

i am looking for a new candler but don't know where to start
so what candler do you use and why do you think its the best one?

Hubby just bought me a new light just for candling. I can even see inside my Marans chickens eggs with it! LED Lenser (1246221). 170 lumes costs around $50 and well worth it. No bigger than my hand. Coastportland.com under professional #7438 tactical focus beam.

um my husbands phone. really his phone has a very bright LED flashlight on it- and it is awesome.

he has a Casio Rock.

LoL hubby got it for me, I do night checks of the pens with it, plus being able to see in those dark chocolate Marans eggs is great. Oh and I don't need a dark room to use it because it's so bright and narrow of a beam.

Its just a little LED flashlite they had in Lowes. Small thing, cost about 2 bucks. Turn it on put egg to flashlite...BINGO... you see into the egg!

The LED light that has 9 bulbs is the best for a limited budget imo. I got several from Tractor Supply last week for $1.99 each and they are really nice for candling. I can even see in the pheasant eggs. The six led ones are not quite as good.
