Hey i have both the hova-bator 1588 (older model not the new one) and Mini Advanced (again older model). If you only plan on hatching smaller numbers go with the mini Advanced. Esp. if you are thinking about hatching duck egg. The new cooling feature is somthing that is worth the money IMO

I have the Hovabator Genesis 1588 that I have had very successful hatches in. Love it. Just got the Brinsea Mini Advance and going to try it out soon LOL !!! Good reviews on both but obviously the Hova holds gobbs more eggs. Good luck on your decision and waiting to hear what you get :)

Brinsea, hands down.

Both incubators work very well, but the Brinsea has more features, is easier to clean, lasts longer and is just a better built incubator IMO. The hova's are styrofoam which can be hard to clean after a few hatches.

You will love it.....Very effecient incubator and easy to use....I think the size help us control our addiction a little bit though.....lol
