what incubator should I get

have a look into brinsea incubators, these are good solid rigs that are well dependable.
sorry have not got a clue on numbers but hopefuly this one will be within range- the brinsea mini advance-
BYC reviews of it: https://www.backyardchickens.com/products/brinsea-mini-advance-incubator

its not for doing large flocks, but its totaly visible all the way around which is a huge bonus for us and for chickies to imprint on mum and dad.

,this is mine on hatching day-
have had good results with mine, first flock only one egg didnt hatch but had known that from the start because it was a pointed egg, current flock of cochins in it [with ten days left] are six active chickies out of six eggs.

woud also recommend one of brinseas candlers if had had some money left over,we have the basic ovaview one which is awesome but its impossible to get photos of the babies, there is a maximum spec candler that is high powered and can attach to a webcam so it can be filmed or photos taken-called the ovascope.
some people are fine with DIY jobs as they arent hard to do if have got the bits lying around, had got mine for free so didnt have any issue with having to make one.

avoid going for a value/cheap incubator if possible as it says alot about the parts, woud personaly rather get a second hand good make one than a cheap new one.

Fur&feathers thanks for the info that is one brand I was looking at for sure I had a little giant still air unit before and had some ok hatches and some bad one and the bad ones were always with pricey eggs
