I think I'm getting a new incubator for my birthday.

My little giant has been an AMAZING incubator for 3 years,

amazingly, but it's not holding temperatures. I dread turning

eggs, cause it normally means turning the heat up a little bit.

It's not only my incubator, but also my thermometers. Next

hatch we do, I'm getting a digital thermometer. My thermometer

read 99.5 F when it was actually 95 F this entire hatch! Amazingly

a couple eggs made it. Trying to hatch now....But now the temps go up

and down AGAIN! Meh. It's currently 3:37 AM on MONDAY morning,

and I'm still running up and down the stairs checking on the temps.

What's a good incubator to get? One that's not so expensive, please.

I had to let out my anger somwhere

Can't go wrong with a Brinsea. Reality is that you get what you pay for when it comes to incubators.

Have you ever replaced the thermostat wafer in your incubator? Many times you find they only last a hatch season or two if you do a number of hatches.

You can get a turner for an LG for about $40.00 which would resolve that issue.
