I looked on Craigslist to get an idea but could only find one of the items I have.

One item is a snow blade... 7 or so feet long... It's a meyer and it does have 2 rust spots and I saw them going for about 200-300 around Northern Illinois area.

The other item I want to sell but don't really know what it's called.... It's a tool cleaner... a sand blaster type... It's about a 3 foot wide ? plastic box with lid and 2 arm holes in the body to but your arms in to hold the tool and turn it I guess. It's electric. What is that called and what can I charge?

I have an old farmer friend that is interested in these things and told me to make him an offer. But I don't have a clue where to start. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Selling your stuff and need a price?

No exact answer. It is worth what it's worth to you? What are you willing
to take for it? That's what it's worth.

What do you have in them? Bought new? How long ago, and do they still
appear to work correctly?

If I DO sell to a friend, I tend to do that much cheaper, in the name of friendship.
Plus, I know I can borrow them back if need be.

Bottom line is what are you willing to take for the stuff? That's all that matters in
the end.

The tool cleaner was not bought new but it's in fine working condition. Don't know how much money went into that one.... the x is no longer around.

I figured I'd give him a fair price but I want to get a fair price as well.

I'm a single mom with an absent x and am currently disabled and sure would help to get enough to pay off a bill or two.

I just don't see these tool cleaner things out there when I've gone shopping at Farm and Fleet or Lowes... I mean, I know they have to be out there... I just don't know what it is called and how to look it up?

Depending on the manufacturer, those sand blasting cabinets can be VERY costly. Find the name brand if you can and look it up online. Once you get a ballpark figure, you will better know what price is fair. I always say start high and you can meet in the middle so neither one of you feels ripped off. He probably thinks he will get a good price because you don't know what it's worth.

sand blasting cabinet... it all makes sense now.

I have to dig it out of the corner... I better not disturb those baby turkeys in the garage.

I will back up and say that I have about two thousand dollars in my sand blast cabinet.
Bought a pretty nice years ago when we were doing antique cars.

Depends on the brand name and model number. Here, size matters. How big an object
can be put in the cabinet. This probably came with several smalelr parts. Different nozzels.
Do you happen to have them still?

Some cabinets use sand. Others use a glass bead.

I can get a fender or a door in my cabinet. Pretty big.

As to the snow plow...this is one that goes on a pickup truck? Complete? Guessing, but I
would say anything in the two-three hundred range is to light.

the blade is quite old and has 2 mens fist size soft rust spots on it... been sitting outside for 4 years... not complete.... the hook up was on the truck my x took off in.... so it's just the blade and it does have hoses on it...no skid shoes either.

my cabinet is about 3 feet long and 2 feet? tall not including the mini legs.

gonna go out and dig it out and see name I see....
