Hi everyone!!

I am getting a incubator because for a project in school (homeschooled) it says it would be cool to hatch chicks. Yes I already have nine! But who doesnt want more chickies running around!

But before I spend 21 days turning and getting everything ready. I want to at least have some hatch. Below is the criteria the chicken has to match. (hehe) I know its getting cold and most people dont hatch chicks but I figured we could try.

Breed matching:
Pretty
Docile
Layed back
A good egg layer
Easy chicks to hatch (if thats a stupid question sorry!

Hope this makes any sense! Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like fun! Any of the Orpingtons are real docile, also the Brahmas with feathers on there legs are real neat and kids really enjoy them and they are also very docile. Good luck!
