Currently my doves are just eating a wild bird seed mix....but they seem to just pick through it and eat only the black oil sunflower seed. My local pet store that is also kind of a feed mill has bulk seeds that you can mix and match. What would be a good mix for doves?

I was thinking.....

Millet
Wheat
Popcorn/cracked corn
Sunflower
Safflower

But there is also a mix by Kaytee for doves.....but it has Canadian peas and I have heard people are concerned about the peas being a choking hazard.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated...please nothing too exspensive.

Best is the mixs for doves or pigeons. You can also get a pigeon pellet. NO CRACK CORN!!!

Whats nice about the pellets birds cant just pick the grain they like.
