I'm not sure, but I think its when you follow the progress of eggs through incubation to hatching.

Hi! It is for groups of people who are incubating and hatching out chicks of all types

Usually there is a month "JULY 2015 hatch-a-long" and people are expecting hatchlings during this month. It is a great support network if you are hatching, especially if you have questions or run into problems. It is also exciting to support others who are hatching! I have learned a lot joining these, as there are always people more experienced than myself hatching! This is how I learned about candling and what to look for! We all celebrate each others successes

as well as console each other when we have failures

. I highly recommend joining if you are incubating! Or if you are like me, I sometimes follow them just to see those cute little fuzzy butts
