Some people take the eggs out of an incubator at lockdown and put the eggs in a separate incubator set up purely for lockdown. The separate device is called a hatcher. This hatcher does not have a turner and is especially set up to provide the humidity and conditions required for hatching. You can have the humidity preset and cleaning may be easier. It also allows you to use the regular incubator for staggered hatches as long as you separate the timing by a few days.
