What is a Hybrid really?

So if you introduce another breed into a bloodline the bloodline is for ever more hybrid?
Why I am asking is Bantam Black Javas. I am trying to find some and or work to create some but if I introduce another breed for downsizing in the bloodline is it always a hybrid? Does it matter after several generations and/or which generation?

Before I start this project I am trying to figure out the right way to go about it.
Thanks for your input.

I know this is a poultry thread. My mom had raised Persian cats for years and she use to take her Persians to Siamese to get what is called a Himalayan Hybrid. The immediate 2 generations after that breeding according to the ACFA the kittens produced were officially called and registered as Himalayan Hybrids. The after that they could be called & registered just plan Himalayans. In this case after the initial breeding and then taken back to a purebred animal within two generations they are considered a "purebred". just thought that would be a point of interest on what is called a hybird.
