What is a Moderator

The moderators are the people that have a hidden camera in my living room. Whenever I type something I shouldn't, red lights and sirens go off and an angry face appears on my screen saying, "YOUNG LADY, YOU KNOW THE RULES!!"

I absolutely love that Moderator photo! It's SO perfect! I think BYC should adopt it for official purposes.

I don't think the OP has anything to worry about - he/she has already made friends with the Mods they posted that they were reading all about how to use the forum - Mods like that!!
