Hi everyone-
I have an Easter egger roo that is about 17 weeks old. He has gotten very agressive, even with my 11 year old handling him from the first day we got him. I have five pullets, one is limping one has very large scab on head, have left it alone it is scabbed over, but large. My other orpington had a scab on her head but it has healed over. Seperated roo in dog run for the time being until I can get furter advice...
-has plenty of room in 8x12 coop, 8x16 run with large dog run area as well maybe 25x25 every day to exercise, lock in coop at night due to high predators in area and dogs.
-age appropriate food fresh water at all times
-not allowing children in run has charged me a couple times and shown agression towards me.
I have never culled a bird and I want to protect my family and hens.
Any advise or words of wisdom greatly apprciated. Thank you.
