Thank you all for the replies! I'll be setting up a Hav-a-Heart trap this week. What bait should I use for raccoons? I've been told wet cat food and canteloupe for possums. Whatever is caught will be dealt with appropriately. Lawd, I hope I don't catch that skunk that lives up in the woods!

I suggest rubbing all of the areas with Irish Spring bar soap. I use it on the exposed tree roots in my pasture to keep the horses from nibbling away the bark. Is very eco friendly and one bar lasts a long time.

Ya'll can make your own "tea" to spray on coops and such. just get some Habinero peppers in the store and finely chop them. Be sure to wear gloves when handling, they are 100 times hotter then a Jal. pepper. Put them in a cloth bag or multiple layers of cheesecloth and put them in a gallon of water for a few days. Then put in a sprayer and spray where you want it.

Oooh...This sounds like a good use for that plant of HOT banana peppers I planted accidentally. Well, planted them on purpose, but chose them by mistake. It's producing like mad!

Edited for spelling.
