what is chickenstock?

Hi, I live in michigan and I am new to this chicken lifestyle and fast becoming an addict!and I have seen many references on BYC to "chickenstock", can someone please explain what, where & when this event is and is it something as a new chick mom I should plan to attend?

A chickenstock is a get together to meet our fellow BYC addicts for face to face discussions, sell, swap, buy, where we can have a fun time and make new friends.

Like Woodstock, but with chickens instead of drugs (some may argue that there's no difference)!
