A few months ago (August) I bought 3 silkies about 2 months old.It was supposed to be 3 pullets but I was pretty sure 1 was a rooster, I was right for once! He started crowing about a month ago,so this AM I was out in the coop and another one started crowing! Do pullets sometimes crow? So far none of them are laying so can't tell what is really going on.
What do you think?

Can you post pictures of your chickens? I don't know anything about silkies, but there are many members who do and will help you get to the bottom of this mystery (pun intended).

Silkies can definitely be tricky to sex before they start crowing or laying eggs. Pictures will help me confirm their genders. It's not overly uncommon for hens crow, however, it is usually heard of in older birds.

Agree with all above, but I also ask the question: Are you sure its a crow? I've seen people on here saying their chicken was crowing, and later we find out it was probably the egg song.
Pics definitely needed. Individual pics, faces, side shots, natural lighting.
