My new Dominique just introduced to the flock 3 days ago. I've never seen a chicken literally sleep on top of another chicken. Is it a comfort thing?

I can't remember which thread it was in, but recently someone posted photos of their roo deciding his feet were cold and calling the girls over so he could sit on them and warm his tootsies!
