Two days ago, one of my hens died. She was sick for a day or so...just hiding in a corner with fluid draining from her mouth. It only took about a day after I first noticed she wasn't herself before she died. She looked healthy even when she died. Now, my Buff Orpington Hen (which is my absolute favorite) is acting strange. She has a little bed on the floor she made, and all she does is lay there and seem to moan. She hasn't layed any eggs for the last day. I don't think I can feel any stuck inside her either. She isn't acting normal. She will eat a little bread if my girls feed it to her, but won't eat any from me. I have no idea what is wrong, or how to fix it. I don't want to lose her, she's my absolute favorite

We just acquired four new birds from another farm. They are quarantined, but my girls haven't exactly been good about sanitizing themselves when they go back and forth between the two sets of chickens. The new birds seem to be acting healthy and happy.
