What is going on with my Cat’s eye?

This morning my kitty woke up and didn’t want to open his eye. It is swollen and has goopy green drainage. His eye was not like this when he came in the house last night. Any ideas on what is going on and how I can treat it?

You can try and flush it with sterile eye drops. You want one ingredient preservative free.

These are why my vet told me to buy.
I know how hard it can be to come up with the money for a vet visit. Please know that their eyes are very sensitive and an infection could cause blindness.
No judgement! Please just keep it in mind.
I hope the best for your kitty.

Thankyou so much!

If that does not work, you may want to try sovereign silver for pets. Not sure,I've never tried it with a cat,but I have used it on my goats when they're eyes are bad and it almost always helps them unless it is pinkeye.

Colloidal silver is great stuff in my opinion. I would try flushing it first. Then go with the colloidal silver. If it still seems infected there is an antibiotic eye ointment but I would save that as a last resort if you go diy. It is the cats eye after all.

Wanted to add that the drops I recommended are in individual vials. That part was also specified by my vet. You use it then toss is so there is no contamination.
